This dichroic glass heart was the first of the etched hearts created by Karen Nan Varela. More of a matte finish than her later etched heart creations. Heart was grooved for a simpler wrap design. Round, sterling silver wire was twisted together, then wrapped around this etched heart. Black glass beads are used in the dangle.
Finished pendant was antiqued using Liver of Sulfur. Finished size is 76 mm x 35 mm. Weight is 0.5 oz.
